Flip Clock Screensaver
A macOS screensaver: a split-flap "airport" style clock in pyneo orange on a black screen. The pyneo logo sits off the clock's bottom-right corner, and both jump to a new random spot every 20 seconds.
Features
- HH:MM split-flap tiles (24-hour) with a flip animation when a digit changes
- Jumps to a new random position every 20 seconds, always fully on screen
- Low power: sleeps between events and only redraws when something changes
- Universal binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), macOS 13 or later
Build and install
Requires the Xcode Command Line Tools (xcode-select --install).
./build.sh # build to build/FlipClock.saver
./build.sh install # build and copy to ~/Library/Screen Savers
Then open System Settings → Screen Saver and choose Flip Clock. If an old version still shows, close and reopen System Settings.
